Abstract

Nigeria, as a nation, faces the formidable challenge of poverty, necessitating a comprehensive exploration of innovative strategies for its eradication. By addressing key areas such as education, healthcare, and employment, Nigeria can unlock its human potential and create a more equitable society, ultimately leading to poverty reduction and sustainable development. A self-structured instrument Impact of Human Resource Maximization on Poverty Eradication in Nigeria Questionnaire on 4 Likert scale format containing 20 items was used to generate data. The instrument was validated by two experts in the educational test and measurement and construct validity were met. Cronbach alpha form of reliability was used in validation as an index value of 0.853 was obtained. The study revealed that a nation that invests massively in sensitive sectors of the economy like education, healthcare, trade and production, security, administration of training packages, and empowerment goes a long way to unlock its human potential and create a more equitable society which ultimately leads to poverty reduction and sustainable development.
