An Integrated Social Studies Approach to a Balance Education in Nigeria

Abstract

The article delves into the significance of entrepreneurial education in equipping students with the necessary tools to navigate an increasingly complex and dynamic world. By integrating entrepreneurship into the social studies curriculum, students are not only exposed to theoretical knowledge but also gain hands-on experience in problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration-essential skills for success in the 21st century. Entrepreneur education is increasingly recognized as vital element in preparing students for the challenges of the economy. In Nigeria, there is a growing awareness of the importance of integrating entrepreneur skills into the education curriculum. This article explores the potential benefits of combining entrepreneur education with social studies approach to create a more balanced and holistic education experience for students in Nigeria. By integrating entrepreneur skills with social studies concepts students can develop a deeper understanding of the social, economic and political factors that shape the business environment. This integrated approach aim to equip students not only the practical skills to succeed entrepreneurs but also the critical thinking abilities and social awareness necessary to navigate a complex inter connect world.
