Efficacy of Aerobic Exercise on Blood Glucose Level Among Non-Diabetic Adolescent Females in Lagos

Abstract

This study investigated the efficacy of aerobic exercise on blood glucose level among
non-diabetic adolescent females in Lagos. 40 female students whose ages ranged
between 11 and 17 years were selected from Anglican Girls college, ketu-Ijanikin,
Lagos State as participants for the study. Participants were tested and measured in the
variable of blood glucose level. They were subjected to aerobic exercise (brisk walk).
Data collected were analysed using ANOVA test. The findings of the study showed
that aerobic exercise produced a significant result among the experimental group.
